It seems that nowhere you go you could really find any form of peace. The peace that affirms, that feels like warm, inviting, like how you felt when you were a child resting in your mother’s arms; knowing full well that nothing could hurt or harm you at that moment.

The events of the world make this seem even more unreachable every day. For myself, I have been struggling to find a sense of inner peace lately and I found out that meditation about your position as an overcomer and conqueror over your hardship really grounds you. If at first, you don’t believe it continue to affirm yourself of this during your meditation until you begin to believe it.

Soon you will begin to notice that your breath slows, your thoughts clear and you begin to feel that you are at peace with the world around you. This also helps when you are in stressful situations and need to destress. By reminding yourself of who you are you regain control over stressful thoughts.

The best part about this is that it does not need a specific environment to work, just a few seconds of peace and quiet wherever you are.
