In the case of wellness and creativity, your self-esteem, self-image, and self-worth are often called into question. For those who are creative, the main question is not, “Am I able to create?” but rather, when it comes to creating, “Is what I have created creative enough, technically sound enough, and in essence, is my art good enough?”

For those concerned about wellness, the question becomes whether they will be able to complete their wellness journey and finally achieve the goals they want to achieve. These negative thoughts can cause them to feel overwhelmed and not do what they feel called to do, and start to put off things until the last minute.  One of the best ways to mitigate this is through the use of affirmations.

What are affirmations?

Affirmations are messages or mantras whose main purpose is to uplift and inspire change within the individual who says or reads them. Affirmations work by replacing negative thoughts and belief systems with positive ones. In addition to this, they create new neural pathways that are different from the past negative ones, allowing for a sense of freedom and helping you to live and have a healthier lifestyle.

The best way to use affirmations is to sit and quietly recite or meditate on them. It helps if you say what is written until you actually believe it, and it becomes a part of your subconscious. Once this has been completed, those positive messages and mantras form the basis of a new identity and initiate change in the world.
